Guys,

I would just like to say that I am finding fatherhood a realy posative thing. Ok at first I had my doubts, but 3 months in everything is great I have a great bond with my kid.

My son is sleeping through with just one feed a night, and he seems to be the perfect baby.

I hope some other guys are having similar experiences to me.

Andy,

You are definitley not alone, in thinking that fatherhood is great, I would hope most of the guys here think the same, just a little trying sometimes.

On a personal note my first slept through from two months, and no two appears to be following sort.

I am sure it is going to come back to bite me at some stage, karma and all that

I couldnt agree more, father hood is a really positive thing, and I wouldnt give my two back for all the tea in china. However they can be quite testing at times especially the three year old

Im sure that there are loads of guys out there that are having a great time with their kids, However they are not going to be looking for advice because they have got it so easy, why cant it be me?????

Just thought we might need some more up beet topics, dont want to scare all the other prospective dads out there do we???

Its not all doom and gloom, this fatherhood buissnes.

It still brings a smile on my face recolecting the first time my kid smiled at me

anyway enough soppyness this is a website for GUYS!!!!!! GRRRRRR

Can't wait for that 3 months to be up, we are 1/2 way through and definately lacking in sleep right now. Still 2 hourly feeds and a two year old who was up at 5.30 wanting to watch cbeebies !!

I love kids - really.

can't wait to see the little fella when i get back from work. thinking of his smile gives me that extra bit of energy when i tackle the huge hill on my push bike, just before our house.

although the little bleeder bit me the other day. it was so painful, i felt my soul leaving my body.

anyway, it is so rewarding being a dad. very empowering.....where's my noam chomsky book!?!
