I do not mean straight away and I know there have been some posts on this forum alraedy on this subject.
The psoition (or lack thereof) is because my wife thinks she has lost her shape and lacks confidence.
On the contary she has lost 3 dress sizes and is the smellest I have ever known her.Now a size 10 poss 8.
She still thinks she is fat and it is doing my head in.
I have tried the daily compliments, the no pressure, the gifts, the romantic bit but it all seems too much for her.
Now getting really fed up myself seems just the bread winner and doing the chores.
Anyone else in the same boat here as that girl in the typing pool at the office looks more interesting everyday!!

if you want my advice, organise for you parents to take the kids for the weekend.

Book a great hotel, buy her a nice dress and take her out for a slap up meal.

pour as much wine and chapagne down her throat as possible, back to the room and bobs your uncle

It is difficult to know what is going on inside a woman's head at the best of times, but after giving birth, it could be impossible.
From hormone imbalances and sleep deprivation through to the 'baby blues' and possibilities of post-natal depression, sex could be the last thing on her mind.
I think all you can do is hang on in there (maybe quite literally) and give as much support as you can.

This is all very easy for me to say at the moment. My first is due in February and I will have probably copied and pasted this post by March.
