Out having a beer with one of my pals last night who agreed with Labour's Ed balls that he thought it pupils aged seven years old should learn about sex. He said that young people today grow up in a very different world to the one that their parents grew up in.I am no prude but seven years old seems to be extremely young to me. There's something very nice and very innocent about children which I wouldn't want to spoil. Don't get me wrong I want them to be worldly but really seven years old in a bit too young? Maybe I'm just old-fashioned.I don't want to shelter them but hey they are grwoing up in a world where they learn and get exposed to things a lot earlier. I know there are those rare horror stories about kids trying it on with other kids but they are rare. They are kids and in my view politicians should be well to remember that. 10 years old still seems young but I think they should start having knowledge of sex from then. Am i doing it wrong but at 7 I hope my kids want to go to disney world instead of ... well you know!
