Hello, we've just found out that my wife is 5 weeks pregnant, our approach has been come off the pill, take the pregnacare supplements and have lots of sex, if it happens it happens.

I've been in this dazed state since, spent lots of money on books and magazines and generally in a state of happy panic.

Last night however Amelia started getting period like pains about 4am and they stuck around for a few hours, there was no blood and she's better today but is this normal?

I think that you sometimes get pain when the embryo is embeding itself, but if your worried I would still get her to talk to a Dr or midwife
