Hi guys,
My wife is about 16 weeks pregnant now and she's still got a very tender stomach, I can't even rest my hand of it, and she finds any constriction uncomfortable, is this normal or should I try and get her to talk to someone about it?

Sorry to hear that your wife is suffering, this is not something that my wife suffered with so I cant say if it is normal or not, however there is a lot going on in her stomach right now, as at 18 weeks she will be able to start feeling the baby kick.
My advice would be to check with her midwife or doctor to see if there is anything to be worried about, its always better to be safe than sorry.

Mate,
I would always say if you are worried check it out with someone that knows what they are doing.
Dont worry, even if they have been asked the same thing by hundreds of other people, this is your first time, and they are there to help.

I agree 100% with Tony 1. Get her to talk to someone about it. There is no need to worry they are usually understanding and always want to help. Your unborn's health and your wifes is their first priority.
I hope she is Ok.

I've tried to convince her to talk to someone but she belives I've overstated the problem.
I can touch the bump but she's ucofortable with any weight or constriction.
We're off to see a consultant on 30th anyway so I'm going to suggest we mention it then.
