Week 33: Advice / Help 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 2
Hi Guys

I have 2 bits of advice I need.

1)We're in week 33 and over the last few weeks my wife's been getting what initally we thought were spots on her upper thighs, but their really more like red rasised blotches rather than spots.

They've now travelled down her inner thigh, could these be mild varacose viens or something we shoul go to the doctors about?

2) Tiredness
How tiered do women get about this time?
The reason I ask is because before the pregnancy she had ME so we're both starting to panic the ME might be comming back.

Thanks in advance.

Richard

Hi Weylund,

Sounds like polymorphic eruption of pregnancy or prurigo of pregnancy.

Neither of which are harmfull to mum or baby, but she should go and see the dr for diagnosis and some cream to relieve the itcheness.

as for pregnant women being tired, this is very normal, all of the internal organs are being compressed by junior, and so she is unable to get as much oxygen as normal and she is of course carrying all that additional wieght.

hope this helps

If its worrying you then I would say get her down the doc's It'll probs turn out to be nothing serious but its always best to get it checked

As for the tiredness, like Jason said its perfectly normal.

nope, she doesn't think it's a problem, it's not itchy or sore just lumps. She's gonna bring it up at her next Midwifes appointment.
