guys its been a while since I posted anything. You know just getting on with life.

We now have just under 4 weeks to go and I am filled with excitement and worry over the birth.

Having read some of the storys on here it makes you realise what could go wrong.

dont worry about it, what will be will be.

Most births are fine, and at least you are going into it with your eyes open.

My advice would be to go with the flow, and ask as many questions as you need to. The medicle staff will be on auto pilot, as this is there job day in day out, but do not worry about asking questions, as this is a very important time in your life if not thier's.

If something does go wrong ask them to explain what your options are, and what there recomendation would be, at least then you have all the information available.

I know what your saying is right, but still cant help but worry.

Strangely, Im more concerned about my girlfriend than the baby, I dont know what I would do if I lost her. Is this an odd way to feel??

I dont think it is odd at all, your girlfriend is the centre of your world at the momment, and you do not know the baby yet.

Believe me, when they arrive, you wont believe that you can love another person as much as yopu love your own kid.

anyway I am sure it will be fine, and if not at least you are going in with your eyes open.

I agree with tony on this one, you are yet to form a real relationship with your unborn child, whilst the relationship with your partner is very real.

When we had our first son, there were all sorts of complications, I of course was woried about my son, but the concern for my wife was at the forefront.

However I must say that as soon as he was in the world, and I was holding him, the love I felt for him was almost overwhelming.

well mother and baby are doing well!!!

I now have a beautiful daughter "Grace" 6 pounds 8 ounces.

She was a little early, but Im so glad she is here!

I cant believe I actually shed a tear when I first held her.
